Prize Draw Terms & Conditions – 2024 QLD Liberty Gala Raffle
1.1 This Prize Draw is a raffle conducted by The Libertarian Party (‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’).
1.2 These Prize Draw Terms & Conditions apply to this Prize Draw.
1.3 Our General Terms & Conditions apply to these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions and definitions used in the General Terms & Conditions also apply to these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions.
1.4 For the purposes of these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions, the following definitions apply:
“Commencement Date” 1th February 2024
“Closing Date” 16th February 2024
“Draw Date” the day after the Closing Date.
“General Terms & Conditions” means the General Terms & Conditions for Prize Draws conducted by us which are available on our website.
“Prize” means, for this Prize Draw, the following:
- 1st Prize* & 2nd Prize:
- 1 x 2024 QLD Liberty Gala VIP Tickets at John Ruddick’s table (Valued at $300)
- 1 x 2024 QLD Liberty Gala VIP Dinner Ticket at David Limbrick’s table (Valued at $300)
- Runner up Prizes – 4 x 2024 QLD Liberty Gala Standard Tickets ($400 Total Value)
Total Prize Pool: $1000
* The first winner drawn will choose which prize they take, with the 2nd person drawn receiving the remaining prize. All other prizes will be runner up prizes and will be drawn separately.
“Prize Draw” means the prize draw being conducted from the Commencement Date until the Closing Date with the Prize being awarded on the Draw Date.
”Prize Draw Terms & Conditions” means, for this Prize Draw, this document.
1.5 These Prize Draw Terms & Conditions apply to all entries into the Prize Draw and we reserve the right to change the Prize Draw Terms & Conditions, and the General Terms & Conditions, at any time without notice subject to relevant state/territory legislation approval by posting such changes on our website https://www.libertarians.org.au.
1.6 The laws of the relevant state/territories in which the Prize Draw is conducted apply to these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions and the General Terms & Conditions.
1.7 By entering into the Prize Draw you agree to abide by these Draw Terms & Conditions, the General Terms & Conditions and any amendments as posted to our website.
1.8 If any of these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions or the General Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the terms and conditions, which will continue in full force and effect.
2. Conditions of Entry
2.1 This Prize Draw will open at 12:01am AEDT on the Commencement Date and close at 6:00pm AEDT on the Closing Date.
2.2 A person wishing to enter the Prize Draw must purchase a Platform Package and correctly complete the details required at the time of purchase (“Entry Details”’) between the Commencement Date and the Closing Date.
2.2 The person whose details are provided with the Entry Details will be the person to whom any prizes will be transferred and that is deemed to have agreed to and accepted these Prize Draw Terms & Conditions and the General Terms & Conditions.
3. Prize Draw and Transfer of Prizes
3.1 The Prize Draw will be conducted at 5:00pm AEDT on the Draw Date. The prize will be drawn at 117/757 Bourke St, Docklands. VIC 3008; with the draw being broadcast via chosen party social media pages. The time and date of this draw may change and changes will be stated on our website or our social media pages.
3.2 The winner(s) will be contacted within 2 business days by email or phone and will be published on our website and our social media pages.
3.3 The relevant Prize will be delivered to the winner(s) within 30 business dates of the Draw Date unless otherwise agreed between the winner(s) and us.
3.4 The winner(s) agree to provide photographs or other media with any prize won in the Prize Draw as reasonably requested of them by us and also to permit us to film content of the entrant with the prize for reasonable promotional purposes.
3.5 If the prize is unclaimed for longer than the period of 3 days from the initial draw. We will conduct a redraw and a new winner will be announced 3 days after the initial draw is conducted. Any prizes requiring a re-draw will be conducted and published on our social media pages. Every effort will be made to contact the winner several times via email, phone calls and text, The redraw will be very unlikely to occur but in the circumstance that it does – it will occur at 117/757 Bourke St, Docklands. VIC 3008, at 3:00pm AEDT on 20th February 2024.
3.6 All prizes winners, including runner ups, may transfer their prize to another person if they choose. This transfer must occur in writing via email to [email protected] with the person to have the prize transferred to included as a recipient in the email. The contact details of this person must be provided. All prize transfers will be validated by our team and confirmed with the transfer recipient before finalising.
4. Other Important Information
4.1 This raffle is open to individuals who are 18 years old or older
4.2 This raffle is open to residents of all Australian states and territories except for Tasmania & Northern Territory
4.3 This raffle is limited to 1,500 tickets and a total sales volume of $5000, to comply with various state and territories compliance requirements.
Entry into this raffle may be closed earlier than the stated end date if:
4.3.1. All 1,500 available tickets are sold
4.3.2 $5000 in total sales is obtained
4.4 Multiple entries into this raffle by the same person is permitted, up to any of the following conditions:
4.4.1 The total number of tickets available are sold
4.4.2 The total amount of sales volume is obtained
4.5 If in the unlikely situation that this raffle needs to be cancelled, all entrants will be notified and their ticket purchases refunded
