The government’s prohibition has driven vapers into the black market or back to smoking, fuelled organised crime, and left millions of Australians without access to safer alternatives.

It’s time for common-sense reform, legalise vaping for adults, regulate it like other consumer products, and let Australians make their own choices.

Petition: Legalise Vaping for Adults

We, the undersigned, call on the Australian Government to immediately legalise vaping for adults and introduce a sensible regulatory framework that removes criminal penalties and ensures legal access through legitimate businesses.

The current approach has:

❌ Created a black market controlled by organised crime.
❌ Left smokers without safer alternatives, despite overwhelming evidence that vaping helps reduce smoking rates.
❌ Forced Australians to import unregulated products with no quality control.
❌ Ignored international best practices from the UK, US, and New Zealand, where vaping is legal and reducing smoking rates.

We demand the following reforms:
✅ Legalise the sale of vapes to adults.
✅ End prescription-only access and treat vaping like any other consumer product.
✅ Allow legitimate businesses to provide retail products legally.
✅ Refocus law enforcement resources on real crime, not persecuting vapers.

Prohibition has failed. Australians deserve access to legal, regulated vaping products without government interference.
