Read our state election platform: The 6 Pillars of Freedom
A. Yes, we will work with any party to deliver outcomes that benefit you, as long as the legislation respects your freedoms, doesn’t raise your taxes, and reduces government overreach. Our goal is to support policies that empower you, not the government.
A. While not ruling out contesting seats in the Legislative Assembly (lower house), our focus for the 2025 State election remains the Legislative Council (upper house). Under Western Australia’s new electoral legislation, votes for the upper house follow a fully optional preferential voting system. This means voters can choose to mark preferences above or below the line as they wish, without being compelled to mark all boxes.
Importantly, the vote does not defer to party preferences, as Group Voting Tickets (where parties directed preferences) were abolished in the 2021 reforms. Voters now have full control over their preferences.
A. The Libertarian Party may release our recommendations for How to Vote (HTV) closer to the date that early voting commences.
A. This law infringes on your property rights and freedoms. We will fight to block and repeal it, and ensure any new laws protect firearm owners' rights. Your ability to lawfully own and use firearms matters to us, and we will strongly advocate on your behalf.
A. "Small government" means less interference in your life. We believe the government should focus on essential services like health, infrastructure, and the justice system while staying out of your personal choices and business. Less government means more freedom and fewer taxes for you.
A. You deserve to know where your money goes. We will ask tough questions, challenge wasteful spending, and fight against tax increases. Every dollar spent should deliver real benefits to you, not fund unnecessary bureaucracy.
A. If you’re a small business owner or want to start one, we’re on your side. We’ll slash red tape and slash taxes, such as payroll tax and vehicle registration fees, so you can focus on growing your business, creating jobs, and boosting the economy instead of dealing with government hurdles.
A. We support legalising cannabis for adults, letting you make your own choices without fear of criminal penalties. We particularly want driving law reform for prescribed medicinal cannabis to be modernised to ensure fairness for responsible users. Our stance reflects a commitment to patient rights and road safety, advocating for laws that accurately assess impairment rather than penalising medicinal cannabis users based solely on THC presence.
A. Your right to defend yourself and your family is fundamental. We believe you should be able to protect yourself in your own home without fear of legal repercussions. We stand for your autonomy and the responsibility that comes with it.
A. You should be able to speak your mind without government interference. We will fight any attempts at censorship and defend a free marketplace of ideas, ensuring your voice can always be heard.
A. You deserve the economic benefits of mining without unnecessary government interference. We’ll push for free-market incentives that hold companies accountable for environmental impact while reducing red tape, ensuring WA thrives economically and environmentally.
A. While this is a federal government issue, in broad terms we believe immigration should work for Australians, not create burdens on housing, infrastructure, or public services. The current mass-immigration approach, driven by federal bureaucracy, has failed to address these concerns. Instead, we support a market-driven system that balances economic needs with community capacity. By combining this with policies to increase housing supply and reduce government interference, we will ensure immigration benefits Australians rather than creating additional strain.
